The shrink sleeve, which is made from materials like PVC, PET, or OPS, is applied to the product’s surface, and once exposed to heat, it shrinks tightly around the contours of the product. This process results in a smooth, seamless label with a high-quality finish, providing both branding and security features Once applied, the product passes through a heat tunnel where the heat causes the sleeve to shrink tightly around the product’s surface. This shrinkage ensures a snug fit, even for irregularly shaped items. Afterward, the product enters a cooling section where the sleeve solidifies, and then the product is ejected and ready for further packaging or shipping.
